About Me!

Hey there! I’m Jake! I was born and raised in Albany, New York (Upstate represent!). I was never the kid who wanted to go play football or baseball, or any other sport (even though I tried them all); I just wanted to sing and make music. I would sing in my crib, and eventually I started taking piano and guitar lessons at age 6. And I just never wanted to stop. I wanted to sing, and often play keys, from the moment I woke up in the morning to the moment I went to sleep at night. Not much has changed since then.

I started performing when I was 9 years old when I was in the Lollipop Guild in the Wizard of Oz. I loved it, and I wanted to keep chasing that feeling. I found my true passion for musical theater when I played Ralphie in A Christmas Story, the Musical when I was 12 years old at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was then that I knew that this is what I wanted to do as a career. Nothing spoke to me the way being onstage did.

My passion for musical theater only grew throughout high school. Eventually, I was accepted to Pace University’s competitive BFA Musical Theater program. Throughout my time at Pace, I met some of the most incredibly talented and kind humans I’ve ever known. My professors and classmates pushed me to my truest potential, and the program has been a wonderful source of training and connections to start making my way in this industry.
